Heating

Course Information

In this course you will review the fundamental physics and thermodynamic principals behind heat transfer, the key factors creating heating load in buildings, combustion equipment, hydronic and steam boilers, distribution systems and terminal devices. You will look at the impact of advancing technology in the design, operation and control of heating systems. It includes additional studies in the properties of water and steam, boiler chemistry and the environmental impact of heating system operation.
